On Friday at 11 am, Rolfe reached the summit of the Tibetan mountain despite the bad weather, freezing rain, and strong winds, along with his team members Arhtur and Kam. On Saturday morning, he made it to the top of the peak with two different team members, Charlene and Pa Dawa Sherpa.
After the first summit, the Australian descended to camp 1 where he started the second climb all over again at 10 pm. He didn’t have much time to rest but it was predicted that a bad storm was on the way so the sooner he left for the second attempt, the better.
